Nvidia reshade9/22/2023 ![]() ![]() You can join the discussion on Nvidia reportedly planning to add ReShade effects to the company's Geforce Experience software on the OC3D Forums. The only disadvantage is that not really every game is supported. The implementation of reshade in the nvidia drivers fixes the problem. The Geforce GTX 1660 Super is rumoured to release on October 29th. Yeah right, it's a standalone program but there are games out there which monitor the reshade files in the program folder as a cheat and other games don't even start with reshade. With this feature upgrade, Nvidia hopes to keep its customers on Geforce hardware, showcasing that the GPU market is about both software and hardware features. That's just stupid and can't possibly be working correct - how it SHOULD work is if NIS is enabled globally with 0% sharpening, any time you play at native and don't tweak the sharpening up from 0% per the game's profile in the control panel there should be no perf hit as no sharpening and no scaling should be occurring - they control panel could just treat NIS as OFF in such a case. Basically the NIS GPU scaling feature costs you performance when enabled in the control panel EVEN IF you're playing a native with 0% sharpening.
